It’s finally here–I have officially joined the twenty-first century! I have a blog!
Okay, so you who have been following the saga know that the first one I tried didn’t function all that well. So it has been replaced with this one. Meaning that the RSS feed has been replaced, too. So you’ll see a handy little button off to the side here, which links you to the new feed. If you want to get updates in your email every time I make a post, that’s what you click. It’s been checked out, and should work correctly now.
Having said that, you might want to wait a day or two before subscribing, simply because I have a shiny new blog, so you know I’m going to be playing with it! Specifically, I’m going to be transferring a lot of Facebook stuff, mostly the Q&A sessions, over here, so people who aren’t on FB can still read them. It also gives me a backup for all that work, in case Facebook suddenly decides I’m Satan or something. So, if you’re already on FB and don’t want to reread all the Q&A’s, just wait a few days to subscribe until they already been posted.
Okay, I think that’s it for now. This is going to be fun!
Hurrah! a new blog and linked to Goodreads-even better!! :D (jumps up and down!)
Enjoyed reading the posts too.
Glitches (I’m a uk user if that makes a difference)
The link via Goodreads comes direct to the new site :) but if I search via Google it still links to the old site. :(
Moreover, if I come on to this new blog page then click on the home page link I return to the old site and can’t access this page.
Hope that makes sense and you manage to iron out teething problems.
OK ignore that – user incompetance – just worked out that only the header on the ‘news’ section looks different so its working fine! Would delete the previous comment if I could work out how!
Hi Anna,
Google is still linking to the old news page. It should stop it in a few days/a week, as its bots figure out something has changed. I went ahead and put a redirect on the old page anyway, so anybody who does end up there can just click through to the new blog. Hope that helps! :-)
