QUESTION 1: Is it possible for a male to be a clairvoyant? If so, were there any male Pythias?

Most oracles in ancient Greece were male. That isn’t surprising–Greece was a very male-dominated society, and women occupied few powerful roles (at least officially.) But Delphi was different. The oracle there, known as the Pythia, was always female. Some scholars believe that the shrine predated the Greek pantheon (some myths have it originally belonging to Gaia, the great earth mother, before she gave it to Apollo) and note that women were powerful figures in stone-age religion. But, for whatever reason, in the thousand plus years that Delphi was the chief oracle of the western world, there was never a male Pythia.

QUESTION 2: Pritkin used his sword-tattoo only once (that we’ve seen of). Will we get to see it again (one way or another ^^)?

It is a fey enchantment, meant to be used in faerie (because human magic is at a great disadvantage there). Pritkin doesn’t need it on earth, where his magic works just fine. However, were he to return to faerie at some point, it could prove very useful.

QUESTION 3: In EtN, one of Rosier’s goals was to keep Cassie from finding the Codex Merlini. Yet the man who’d written it spent a decade in his court… Was Rosier not aware of its existence then? Where was it during Pritkin’s sojourn?

As you’ll find out in “A Family Affair,” demons don’t use books in their educational experiences, and most don’t think much of human knowledge. So when Pritkin arrived in Hell for the first time, nervously clutching his battered collection of old human spells, no one cared or even particularly noticed. Rosier only found out what the scroll contained after Pritkin returned to earth, was promptly mugged and the book put up for auction. But by the time he caught up with his son, the thieves were dead, the book was lost and the contents were effectively destroyed because of Pritkin’s spell. So the issue seemed moot–until Cassie came along.

QUESTION 4: In HTM, it was said that Cassie’s coronation would be broadcasted throughout the magical community via a spell. My question is: was the spell’s “range” large enough to have filmed her fight with the Spartoi (and what ensues after)?

Yes, which was why the papers had the headline they did the next day. It was impossible for even the senate to hush up something so many people had already seen for themselves.

QUESTION 5: Since Artemis is essentially Hel who is over Hell or at least power over the nine hell regions and Pritkin’s father is a Lord of the demons who I am assuming are in hell… So would that not make …Cassie having some power over hell since Cassie is Hel/Artemis’s daughter? Would that not make Pritkin and Cassie drawn to each other since Pritkin said other demons can sense each other, even though I know Cassie is not a demon, but she would have to have some type of power. Also, would that not make Cassie a princess of hell, like Pritkin; a prince of hell. Is that way too deep of a thought or am I reading too much into this. :)

If you read the old Greek and Roman legends, you run across a lot of children/grandchildren of the gods with human partners. Most of the heroes of the Greek myths fall into this category, in fact. But even those sired by Zeus himself were nowhere near as strong as a full god. Some took after their human parent and had little to no “godly” abilities; others had some sort of talent, but only in one main area (Hercules and strength, Achilles and invulnerability, Jason and being a giant prick, etc.) That’s a long way of saying that Cassie probably inherited something from her mother, but there’s no telling exactly what. However, she is unlikely to have anything close to Artemis’s full strength/repertoire.

As far as being a princess of Hel, you need to remember that Rosier was not at all happy at the thought of the old gods returning. So I don’t think “princess” is exactly the term that would be applied to Cassie in Hell. And the term that might be used I can’t say on a family-oriented site.:) Suffice it to say, I don’t think she will be getting a tiara anytime soon.
